Pedrosa Blog A very fun weekend
Misano is circuit that I like; we’ve already had the opportunity to test there this season so that experience will no doubt be key...
It’s yet another GP week and we are anxious to arrive in Misano. But before writing anything else, I want to congratulate Toni Bou!
He is an extraordinary rider and year after year we see how he continues to make a mark that will remain for all of history. He secured his ninth World Outdoor Trial title, just like that! Congratulations Toni!
In the last post I wrote about how I was anxious to train at 100% and in fact, I have been able to do just that. I’ve even had some time to have fun. Over the weekend I was lucky enough to take part in the classic motorcycle / scooter event, Alpen Brevet, and on Sunday I had the chance to do some water skiing on Lake Geneva. So it’s been a busy weekend!
And of course I didn’t miss the chance to follow some of the stages of the Vuelta a España. For example, the stage on Sunday was spectacular, one of those stages that all of us die-hard fans enjoy. In fact, I can’t congratulate Purito enough for the great show he gave us. I hope the Vuelta is a fight up until the finish line!
Now it’s our turn. We have also had time to train hard with the San Marino GP in mind. Misano is circuit that I like; we’ve already had the opportunity to test there this season so that experience will no doubt be key to our performance. I hope it helps us have a great start from the very first session and that we will able to fight for one of the top spots, battling for a strong result.
We’ll see if I can give you some good news next week. I’ll do all that I can to make it happen.
I would like to finish this post by expressing my condolences to the family and friends of those who passed away in the A Coruña Rally.
